All I can say is that i'm still confused about the ending, but even so I still enjoyed this anime series. Clannad focuses on each characters attitude, school life and romance while After Story focuses on the real world the world of the adult, a mature individual and how hard to be a parent. Many people would consider clannad AS one of the best anime series but to be honest the first 8 episodes of AS are fillers and some viewers will probably get bored. Clannad started as a PC game before it became an anime. Actually after watching Clannad I played the 2003 Clannad PC game and according to game After Story actually starts at episode 10 where everyone has already graduated and going to college or looking for a job. Going back to my review I know many people cried (mostly girls) that's why this anime is a highly recommended to everyone.
For people who wants to watch clannad AS and wants to skip the filler episodes please watch episode 1 then skip episodes 2-8. Episode 1 may be filler but you'll still enjoy that episode. I'm actually lazy in making reviews so that's all I can say. NO SPOILERS!
