Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon II is just the previous season but more refined. That is the greatest understatement to be said about it. This time around the story is much more focused and concentrated right off the bat. Any confusion is quickly resolved by the anime itself.

Story:
The story is once again simple and straightforward, however it is presented much more clearly. This allows for more character development and interaction between the cast. It again suffers from some problems from the previous season. For example most viewers would lose some effect of the characters (name/title) if they are not exactly the history geek. This is very minor as the characters themselves do a very good job of creating their own persona and place in the anime.

Art:
The artstyle stay mostly the same again with some improvments in the effects and character design.

Sound:
The soundtrack once again delivers. It includes several of the old tracks as well as some new ones that again fits perfectly with the anime.

Character:
This. This is what makes this anime awesome. Aoi Tori might have less of a impact onto the story this time, but the rest of the cast steps up into the spotlight. It's very rare that an anime can make the cast entirely likeable and unique as well.

Enjoyment:
The battles remain as strange and awesome as they were last season, the characters remain as enjoyable as always, soundtrack is stunning, and the story is much more refined. This anime is one of the few ones that i keep rewatching every 3-5 months

Overall:
Overall the story wraps up with a good fulfilled ending yet still leaves things open for continuing which only succeeds in making me hope other season comes to grace us fans.
