Let me start out by saying that if you are a fan of the anime genre, you should this movie just from the perspective of the exquisite animation. I was hooked, my eyes couldn't leave the screen. Part of the reason why I wish this was longer than 46 minutes. This is actually the first review I have written on Myanimelist so bear with me.

Story - 7
The story itself was engrossing but at the same time a bit of a let down. It had a great build up and it was paced very well however the fact that it runs 46 minutes does put a bit of a damper on how far the director could take it. The story revolves around a young man who skips school every day it rains to go to the park. This is where he meets Yukino, and they continue to meet on rainy days. The premise itself is good and the way it breaks away from meeting only in the park, and then moving beyond that is well done. Once again however is someone is expecting a really in depth story they should be prepared. It is essentially a beautiful movie that for 46 minutes draws you in and gets you wanting more and so you end up feel a bit let down at the end, almost as if they needed to rush the ending.

Characters - 10
The characters really carry the movie, Yukino the lost teacher and Akizuki the lost student. Akizuki really is the main character here so we see all most the entirety of the movie through his eyes. We see some of Yukino but this is really a movie about Akizuki. He seems a very mature character especially considering the 12 year age gap but, hey it is anime.Yukino is a very a well created character that doesn't stand out, but that in a way really brings out the charm in her character. It also helps with the story in that her character changes from being pretty isolated to a more stand out character towards the end. The story really evolves around these two characters and they carry the movie between them very well.

Sound - 10
There is no OP but the ending theme goes extremely well with the movie and I listened to the entire thing, which is not always the case. The sound in its entirety (effects, music) goes perfectly in sync with the movie and one cannot fault it there.

Overall Enjoyment- I really enjoyed the movie, it was a movie that just helps you forget your life for a little but and it is worth the watch. The story is good but don't expect anything ground breaking, give it a go I can guarantee you won't regret watching this beautiful moving art.
