Real Review
Story- The story was just alright for me, it wasn't really bad, but it certainly didn't bring anything new to the Rom/Com genre. Nothing is really fully explained, we don't know why the main character has that personality, what past relations the female lead had with the supporting cast; nothing is really resolved in the story, side elements are mentioned and then cast aside never to be mentioned again.
Art- The animation and character designs are all good, it won't blow you away, but I wouldn't expect much more from a Rom/Com.
Sound- The opening song isn't bad, but it's not really good either. The music throughout is nice though it's nothing memorable but it works. A few songs towards the end are pretty good though,
Character- A pessimistic main character, a smart and ruthless female character, the innocent and bubbly female character, and the boy that looks like a girl catching characters off guard; this anime has most of your Rom/Com stereotypes they won't blow you away, but they probably won't dissapoint either. As far as character development goes this anime does a pretty good job of showing the characters progress, though I thin given another season the characters would really start to break out of their shells and start to shine as they were meant to.
Enjoyment- I didn't really go into this one expecting a whole lot out of it and I'm glad I didn't. I wasn't really disappointed nor impressed the whole thing was kinda just meh. There's not a whole lot of romance in this anime which is pretty odd considering it's genre which left me pretty disappointed. Though the whole thing is pretty light hearted laughs are few and far between. As a whole I thought the series was pretty fun mostly because of the character chemistry and the tone of the anime.
Overall- This anime knows what it is, it's just that it doesn't do it that well. Both the romance and comedy are lacking, if the side stories weren't forgotten and characters pasts and motives were better explained it might be a bit better. The core elements just don't really come together on this one. If you're into Rom/Coms you could give it a try, just don't go into it with high expectations, or you're looking to be let down.
