First of all, my impressions on this anime were really bad and I thought it was gonna be another fan service type of anime like Highschool of the Dead. But I was glad that I was wrong. (
STORY : 8/10
Comparing this to other animes that are the same genre like Clannad, I know that it isn't the best, but its certainly enjoyable and easy to understand. The story's pacing however was a little bit rushed here and there but nothing major, and I do agree that this anime deserves a second season because of the extra characters that were introduced in the last episode. But it does a really good job at showing how people with talents and people without them deal with each other, showing that nothing is impossible in life. Sorata's relationship with Shiina shows the best explanation as to how it would become if one would get jealous of the other. Story gets a solid 9/10.
Art : 8/10
The animation was not bad but its not the best either, but it definitely shines when it shows the sakura trees and the leaves (I thought that was absolutely beautiful). Characters were well drawn and some might say its too cute, but I don't really care if the story is good. Colors were easy on the eyes and vivid.
Sound : 10/10
The sound. Hmm, I loved it. The openings and the ending themes fits the anime story perfectly and the background music for the special scenes fit in so well too.
Characters : 7/10
I do admit the characters are good but they are not that great. And due to the extra characters in the last episode being introduced I was thinking really hard on deciding the score, but this is due to the lack of a second season. I'm not demanding a second season but I wish they announced a few OVA's to conclude the relationships for the characters. (I hated the cat at the end).
Overall I did enjoy the anime and it did make me cry at the end. I would recommend this anybody. For me its a must watch if you love romance and comedy. 9/10
