What Lovely Complex lacks in luster it makes up for ten fold in story and humor( some of which you might need to be a bit knowledgable in japanese culture for). The Characters have a true depth that leaves a person to wonder if they might be based on someone the writer knows.
All in all, a suprisingly enjoyable series. If you are looking for flash and glimmer look elsewhere, but if you want to experience something that has side spliting antics, touching romance, and a soul that is a bit real and deep Lovely complex is worth investing some curiosity in.
