So first off, I freakin' love this anime to death, 'kay. Starting, yeah, the art's nothing to brag about, but they had a pretty low budget for 26 episodes so cut 'em some slack. And I think I need to make this clear (because apparently SOME people still haven't gotten this through their heads) Higurashi is NOT all about crazy murders and death. It does NOT have extensive gore, and all the characters are NOT psychotic yanderes. Higurashi has a really tragic and beautiful storyline that happens includes some death. So don't go around trying to tell people it's a "Really gruesome story about a bunch of psychotic kids that kill each other and there's lots of blood." because that's NOT RIGHT AT ALL. It really focuses on the bonds of friendship and trust and betrayal more. So go watch the show, and don't complain. Because it's freakin' amazing.
