Clannad is an all around AMAZING anime. When I first began this series, I wasn't really sure if I liked it or not, the beginning was a bit slow for me and a little confusing, but the humor kept me watching. By the end of the afterstory, I realized what may have seemed like a slow start, was a gradual but strong attatchment to these characters in preparation for the afterstory. I can absolutely garentee you, that by the end of this anime you will be choking back tears if not bawling your eyes out. This is by far the best drama/romance i've ever seen even outside of the anime genre. the realistic stance clannad takes regaurding frustrations in life are extreme but relatable, which is part of the reason it plays on your heart strings a bit. I can PROMISE you this anime is not a waste of your time
