Entertaining, and at the same time, heavily depressing. It opens your eyes wide open to the cruel side of life (leaning more to the self made up internal conflicts as the major problem). Packed with all bitter facts of reality the world has to offer.

I'll be focusing on the down points since anything else are already mentioned in most reviews. To sum it up, you'll be facing times where watching the anime sucks out your life dry. It totally did mine yet I couldn't afford to drop it before the finish. The anime lacks 'mood stabiliser' in some as where several episodes can get drastically gloomy and exhausting. Uneven amount of FS scattered throughout the series was quite obvious. Beginning has slightly too much service cuts, leaving the rest of the anime seemed unattended. Everything else is considerably more than good. I was surprised to find the ending satisfying. They pulled it off splendidly, notably strong in its character deliverance, audio-wise and impression.

Overall a solid 8/10; and a six with personal preferences included. Although not perfect, NHK ni Youkoso is a well-done anime, just isn't really my thing as it drained a lot of my energy. I managed to pick up some lessons and get fairly motivated on the bright side.

P.S. unlikely suitable for people who want to run away from reality
