Idk why others are putting this anime down, but I'm not going to. It is not the best anime out there, as my score of a 7 will reflect, but it does have its own unique qualitys. I believe that the concept of the setting was pretty good. Yes, we have all seen an anime where there are different classes sectioned off in a school whether it be for a different learning speed or for just different grade levels. But they also include that wherever your class is ranked dictates what items, and quality of said items, will be in your classroom. To me and the "former members of class F" this was a big deal. And not only were they going to gripe about it in their class room, they would act on it! They were able to do something about it because they weren't all stupid or mentally challenged. And how?? FIGHTING PEOPLE IN BATTLES!!
You have to realize that this was a creative anime that, in the end, was able to express certain morale values. If you watched this and only saw nosebleeds and people getting hurt for comedy, ten you honestly missed the point of the anime and should re-watch it.
One thing really quick is that the title should not be the deciding factor for if you watch an anime or not, Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu is a title that I cannot read, I did later look up what it meant and it did not change my opinion on how I valued this anime. Pretty sure it shouldn't change yours.
