Both are about a boy that gets bullied and tries to overcome bullies by studying martial arts. Both of them are trained in several martial arts. They both have spirit, and don't give up easily. The Breaker is seinen, HSDK is shounen.
Both are stories about a young man who trains to get stronger. Both titles have fantastic fight scenes and great character development.
Martial arts plays a pivotal role in both The Breaker and Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi. The main male protagonist starts off as a rookie with little experience but starts to develop his own skills. Throughout their journey, they face off against powerful adversaries and discover their potentials. He also receives guidance from unlikely allies and form meaningful bonds with them. Recommended for anyone looking for an action packed series with a combination of comedy and drama.
