Both are from the same author.
The main character in both stories drink a pill to change their age and become artists. In Full Moon she turns older to become a singer and in 31 ai dream she turns younger to become a model.
Both of the series are written by the same author and have to do with the main character changing their appearance to fulfill what they wish to accomplish. Idol Dreams may be more suitable for the older audience, but overall, Full Moon and Idol Dreams are very cute and good reads.

Created by the same legendary shoujo manga-ka, Idol Dreams is pretty much a less-fantasy reverse Full Moon wo Sagashite—where the main character is a woman who is aged down to a 15 year old, as opposed to a sickly girl aged up to a 16 year old. Either way, her new form gains popularity as she is roped into showbiz as an aspiring idol. Since these are from Arina Tanemura, expect lots of pretty shoujo art to go along with a story that surprisingly features more thoughtful themes than at first sight... as well as suicide.
