The base stories of both these manga are the same - step brothers who started living with each other at an early age. One falls for the other quite early on, but keeps his feelings to himself because he doesn't want to destroy his family. His love comes to fruition many years later. Unlike many BL manga, the parents are not only present in the picture, but they're actually kind and loving parents. Not to mention how much the inner thoughts of the characters are explored in both these manga.
