There are several reasons why I like both of these series:
* In both series main characters dynamics work out really well - you keep wanting more interactions between them!
* Relatable and well written main and side characters with nice backstories
* Both are about relationships between people - what does it mean to be someone's friend; what does caring for someone really mean?
* The confidence in both main characters (Yugami and Mitsumi) that inspires others and perhaps even you as a reader.
Overall both are really well written slice of life manga.
Loafer may go more in the romantic side of things but both have a very mature approach to youth.
Both have a lot of quirky humor that lands really well.
Both MCs communicate in a straight-forward manner that helps the plot.
Supporting characters get meaningful backstories.
Goal-oriented main characters and friendship between the same and opposite gender.
