The thumbnail seems identical but that is not all that meets the eyes. The main characters are similar in both works as they have personalities that are not straightforward and are instead playful characters. There is a hint of mystery prevalent in the works that sets the stone for them as more serious reads. Inner monolouges and an evident displeasement of the female characters are displayed for both male leads but character development impacts the course of the story.
The expectations should lean towards a school life with minor world building and events occuring at school. There are traces of higher authorities so crimes will

Gekkou and Kuzu to Kinka no Qualidea are pretty much the same dish, but with a bit different seasoning. The first one has better romance and story, while the latter one is a bit trashier (not exactly in a bad way), funnier and is focused on bad people.
