Both mangas deal with a premise of a girl that is "rough around the edges" being in a constant company of attractive and popular guys and being put into various situations together with them.
Both girls have a "main suitor" with whom they develop the relationship throughout the story.
Kurohyou to 16-sai is more romance focused, while also having a "human pet" element to its plot. And Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge is a lot more wacky and comedic.
It's interesting to see how these different series realize similar set-ups and romantic threads.
