Mysterious treasure hunt in 20th century historical Japan with a spotlilght on the struggles of an oppressed minority group who rarely get any focus in manga. The tones are quite different - Golden Kamuy is far more comedic, and Yuureitou has a darker, more supernatural element to it, but overall the two series have different takes on a similar concept.
Be gay, do crimes, search for treasure, learn the treasure is the friends we make along the way, be gay again just to be sure
