Food Wars and Kitchen Princess are two cooking manga about the main character going to an academy with a high reputation and wanting to become a chef, which is somewhat due to their parent(s), as they were also a chef. The main character often finds ways to cook interesting dishes. It is worth noting that Kitchen Princess has a big emphasis on romance in place of ecchi fanservice, though.
