This manga is similar to Haikyuu!! because the protagonist is very loveable. At first he had no hobbies and was bored of his life, until he came across ballroom dancing. The characters in this manga are all well developed, and the drama is well paced. Similar to how Haikyuu!! follows the improvement of Hinata's skills, this manga focuses on the protagonists improvement.
You might be wondering how a volleyball anime and a dance anime are similar, let me explain. Ballroom has the same amount of intensity as Haikyuu if not more, both main characters have an affinity to dance and sports respectively, feature a cast of handsome boys, and while haikyuu isn't labeled as a romance, both feature similar if not identical "heroines", kiyoko and shizuku. Both stories kindle a passion for their respective topic (dancing/volleyball) where you might find "How to: Tango" and "How to: Quick Attack" in your search history.
