Well, the mangaka for this manga is the same duo that drew Alive, so if you like the artwork here you'll like it there. (Alive has some wicked eyes). Besides that, they're connected only broadly in the fact that there's supernatural fights and such. Alive is more gory though (but that's a given).
Noragami is written and illustrated by the artists for Alive. So the art is the same (well, better, because they've had time to develop/improve), and the humor is very, very similar -- something I suspect they learned from the author of Alive. So while the two series don't share subject matter, they have the same "feel". If you liked Alive, you'll probably enjoy Noragami.
