Both take place in Yoshiwara, a red-light district in historic Tokyo, and have beautiful art.
Somehow I can't help relating Tsubaki in Oiran Girl to a character in this manga, Takisuki. Same initial background story. But what happens later was pretty intriguing.
A time-travel manga with an interesting twist.
