Both of these deal with the darkly themed games, with psychological viewpoints. They aim to expose the bad of the human nature.
Real account has more illegal, deathly punishments while Liar game is more of an illegal shark-loan. So, in other words- Real Account: gore. Liar Game: distress (a lot)
Real Acc. has more modern themes implemented into the story, though, obviously, since it was made later than Liar Game.
Liar Game and Real Account are manga series that adapts a survival horror-like game scenario. The main character gets involved in complicated situations that require problem solving skills. Throughout both story, we see them tackle various obstacles that can result in grim consequences if not completed properly. Both series has a lot of plot twists that adds additional complications to each game. Recommended for any fans interested in psychological with survival game elements.
They are both death game, though liar game has more of psychological and moral motives and on the other hand real account is more of the the guy-gets-stuck-in-cyberworld(game) genre (also called SAO-inspired genre).
