Both main characters have to deal with being hassled by their fellow students and are named after some form of plant (Tanpopo [Imadoki!] - dandelion, Makino [HYD] - weed)
Both main characters share a love interest in cold men who have suffered difficult pasts. Some similar plot developments between the relationships.
Tsukushi is strong just like Tanpopo and you will enjoy the love story as well. There's always pressure and conflict, but there's always a side of comedy as well. Both stories are fantastic so check them out and you'll love it for sure, if you're a shoujo otaku that it...

Both main protagonists are poor while attending an elite school. They are very tough as to being bullied by the classmates of the main guy, but not letting that effect them (as both heroines are strong-willed to their purpose).
As a development, other characters are mightly influenced by the main girl, either by her strength or her personality. The main guy first appears cold, suffering from the difficult side of a wealthy background.
Love triangles emerge, great drama, good comedy on the side. Although Imadoki! is much shorter, both are amazing stories from the romantic-drama world.
