both series are about a seemingly ordinary (or close enough) teenage guy who meets a non-human man, who protects them, as the two travel around a fantasy world. the main characters both actually have special powers that they did not know about.
Chigusa and Raada are quite similar in their attitudes towards the main characters, although the main characters themselves have quite different personalities.
i think if you liked one, you will probably like the other, although nagaraja is a bit short.
