There is a similar vibe between Aphorism and Afterschool Charisma -- although the latter leans in more towards mystery and psychological factors rather than fantasy and horror. In both titles, a certain group of students is given focus and bond together against the conflicts it faces. Despite having rather dark themes, both titles also have quite amusing comedy inserts every once in a while to help lighten the mood of the situation.
