I'm just going to run in head-first with this one.
Both are about females(who use magic)and somehow find a pet-like companion. Neither of them knew just how much they were going to fall when they got their new helper.
They seem to grow a romantic-like attachment to their new helpers the more they live with and get to know them. By no fault of the helper, might I add? Though in Behemoth it is from the 'helper's' point of view more often then not and he seems to like his... female magic user companion just as much as he likes her. In Slime Life, tsundere
