As expected of this author, the main character is an adolescent male protagonist who has seen more of the harsh reality of the world than your usual kid, and has something supernatural happen to him. This supernatural element gives them a connection to a murderous man that the main character will have to be aware of and outwit. Also there is some bloody violence.
