Aono-kun was recommended by Chainsaw Man author and when you read both you understand why.
They both got this edgy/quirky/weird vibe and humor. They don't fear depicting gore things and adress feelings and relationships (as lover, family or as friends) with some kind of twisted logic.
They're good at surprising the audience and not letting the reader know where the story is going.
It could have been any of Fujimoto's work and not only CSM because they're really on the same wavelength.
