Cool action with dark secrets and deaths to not be taken lightly. Similar humor with school in the background. The MC's have good personalities and demons/youkai has a major focus in this anime. Both are solid and worth watching.

Both of these series feature a protagonist that has some demon traits or abilities, as well as the ability see youkai/demons that "normal" characters in the series can't. Both series are supernatural shounen, with a semi-episodic format of different demons/youkai that need to be defeated in each episode. They both have a similar sense of humour and a very similar atmosphere, as well as a large focus on action.
I believe anyone that enjoyed Blue Exorcist or Ushio and Tora, would find similar enjoyment in the other series.
