There are several story arcs where a different girl gets her own story with the male lead. It is in an omnibus format, so it's not actually a harem anime. The main difference is that Amagami is more dramatic, and Kaminomi is more comedic.

-Both animes's setting/story goes by an omnibus format, and have small arcs that can either or not be diverging from the central plot of the story (with the setting intact) -Both can be considered BUT IS. NOT. a harem, since the anime concentrates on one heroine to the next.

-Both animes have the main character encountering with a lot of different girls -Both are funny and have very good romance parts -in The World Only God Knows, Keima, is known as the "The Capturing God" because he can "capture" any 2D girl in any game and receives an e-mail offering him to "capture girls" and accepts. Since Amagami follows the structure of the galge it based on, you might find it enjoyable to watch The World God Only Knows, which makes fun of a galge cliche characters. Both also focuses on particular romance story arcs, although The World God Only Knows is a linear story, while Amagami is playing out each possible story arc you can play thorough in the game.

Both series feature small arcs that deal with the male lead and the female lead for that specific arc and the romance that develops between the two. There's some good comedy, a little bit ecchi and both feature some rather well developed love stories that will leave the viewer happy after each arc. The difference is that Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai ties all the smaller arcs together into one larger overall plot and in Amagami SS the story, for the most part, resets after each arc. If you liked watching one of them you wont regret trying out the other.

Both anime have the main character falling in love with many different girls. Both anime have the girl they fell in love with forget about everything (technically since the story changes). Amagami SS is designed like a dating sim, where the main character falls in love with character to character and goes on.

Both are romance animes that are featured in a 'omnibus' type format. Protagonist gets a chance to get all the girls. The setting is also in school and includes comedy although it is more apparent in Kami Nomi. There is also a imouto or little sister character in both!

Both have the same story around an MC who takes different paths about relationships that go along with the plot, the differences are that an MC will restart at the same point as a relationship ends and the other is always followed by the plot as the MC conquers a girl.

Kami Nomi (The World Only God Knows) takes a more light-hearted, even more parody-like, approach to showcasing romance in anime. Both feature one guy seeking to "get the ladies" with Amagami SS using the omnibus format and TWOGK using a "Men in Black"/erase the memory approach. If you like a more comedic romance than Amagami SS, check out TWGOK!

Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai (The World God Only Knows) is split into four different arcs of 2-3 episodes, each featuring a different girl with greatly contrasting personalities. With genuine stories that don't simply consist of ecchi around every corner, both series fit comfortably into the romance genre, and can also draw out a tear or two.

A relationship with... The World God Only Knows and Amagami SS both follow a student who goes through multiple different relationships with multiple girls. Amagami SS protagonist Junichi, is a normal guy who ends is set in multiple romantic stories with girls ranging from a large variety. Though, TWGOK sets the protagonist Keima in a forced situation of dating different girls also with a large variety, in hopes to get out of the contract he made. Both anime give multiple romantic scenarios with senpais, kouhais, childhood friends, student council presidents, teachers and more. Though, TWGOK is more comedic with those stories, with Amagami SS being just plain   read more
