Bakuman and Genshiken Nidaime both involves a group of friends/characters who are prefers indoor activities but more importantly into the manga/anime culture. The main characters are knowledgeable about the manga field and in Bakuman, they even pursue a career in it.
Both series has a lighthearted tone and also has a slice of life feeling to them. There's also references to other popular anime/manga series. There's some romance as well (more so in Bakuman) that creates drama among the characters. Both series also contains hilarious dialogues with a fun sense of humor.
