Chrno Crusade and Mai Hime elicit similar emotions in the viewer. They both have heartbreaking stories and excellent heroines. Rosette and Mai are both strong-willed and desire to protect their little brothers and the other people they love.They combine the perfect amount of comedy and light hearted moments with times of despair. The coupling of happy episodes with tragic ones makes the emotional atmosphere in these shows that much more powerful. There are several epic moments in both as well as nuns haha. The same voice actor for Chrono and Nagi are in both shows. The shows were made around the same time so they
