These are both set around a restaurant and are largely focused on character drama and the daily life at said restaurant. They are slow paced, relaxing, and set a similarly warm mood. Most characters are male in both.
-Both are about groups of very handsome men being in charge of cozy restaurants
-Both are a very relaxing slice of life anime series that put a lot of care and attention to the details of the foods available in the restaurant

Both set around an eatery that has mainly handsome men working there.
Paradiso is set in a rustic-feeling Italy whereas Rokuhoudou is set in an urban Japan.
Paradiso mainly focuses around the romance between a young woman and a mature gentleman in the restaurant whereas Rokuhoudou is rather episodic what with new characters introduced each episode but there is an underlying plot point to it as well.
Both shows use their eateries as a premise for storytelling and are targeted to more mature generations of audience hence them being more sophisticated in feel.

Both involve eateries and shows the interaction that the staff has with customers and with each other. Both are portrayed realistically, in the fact that they do not have any fantasy or sci-fi elements, although they do have slice of life drama. The one major difference involves culture with "Rokuhoudou Yotsuiro Biyori" taking place in a Japanese tea shop/cafe and "Ristorante Paradiso" taking place in a restaurant in the streets of Rome, Italy.
