Similar art/animation, and both are about different universes, where the villains try to destroy the earth. The villains are very similar in both animes. The main protagonist is a boy that initially is afraid of fighting, but later becomes brave and never stops fighting for his friends. Also, one of the main guys was on the side of the villains in the beggining, but later switched to the "good" side.
