Both employ the artistic choice to exclude non-essential characters entirely, both have immaculate vibes, vampire waifus, and witty dialogue that carries the show

both are vampire themed anime as well as also focusing on a ya (especially hot girl) cast and flashy animation and visuals as well too and also lots hot fanservice.

Similar artstyle and structure, focusing heavily on dialogue, also have supernatural elements.

Yes, they both are about vampires and both are comedies with supernatural. But the main similarity is that the whole story of both anime is a metaphor for serious social problems.

- involves vampires - Similar directing style, Tomoyuki itamura (director of call of the Night) directed parts of bakemonogatari and the majority of the monogatari series - Both include heavy dialogue - Empty streets - Aesthetic backgrounds - Well animated fight scenes

Vampires and the supernatural exist with an eccentric girl and a "normal" boy that gets roped into a different part of the natural world from his normal everyday life. Monogatari focuses on curing and the consequences of being cursed by supernatural creatures while Yofukashi is more down to earth about how being a vampire sets you free from normal life everybody else lives in. Overall the dialog, themes, art style, camerawork, etc. are very similar while being made by different studios and different enough to stand out as their own stories.

really great vibes from both this anime and weird MCs, and there are amazing vampire characters

Animators of Yofukashi were greatly inspired by Bakemonogatari: panoramas of colorful backgrounds, wide shots, semi-random close shots, different expositions are all trying to diversify long conversations. Supernatural theme coincides too, while characters could be somewhat similar.

They're giving the same mysterious vampirious vibes that makes you wanna continue to watch it. To say the least, they have great op and ed as well. And a bit of comedy too.

Both Bakemonogatari, and Monogatari series in general, and Yofukashi no uta have shared quite a number of similarities regarding animation and storytelling style. Which is, in my opinion, very unique and gives viewers the vibes that is quite hard to come by in other anime. Story-wise both of them are stories about a boy and vampires. While the former is about a vampire-infused boy's whose stories is about supernatural beings that he and his acquaintances experienced. The latter is a story about a boy who wants to become a vampire.

I think we can say both anime is vampire-romance which is character and dialogue based. Also some transitions and sequences are really similar to each other with lots of way but actually why I find them similar is their uniqueness, I know this is kind of ironic but behind their similarities they both are really unique, even tho Yofukashi no Uta is really imitate Monogatari with some ways. The imitation is not a bad thing when you can do it right and it is the reason why I like the show even more.
