The aspect of "weird diseases" makes me think of monogatari. The episodes are showing various cases.
Still, the atmosphere is different
this is the closest anime i can recommend that has the same storyline of this anime, both anime tells about treating mysterious disease, I personally recommend this anime cuz the story it tells has so much depth in it, plus the mc is smart too
