Both series deal with a supernaturally perceptive protagonist and the supernaturally afflicted arrogant girl who becomes his girlfriend, as well as various unusual supernatural cases he becomes involved in. Tasogare Otome's aesthetics and directorial style are very obviously influenced by Bakemonogatari as well.

The main character encounters a strange, otherworldly girl covered in mystery, since then he gets involved in strange situations because of the girl. Both animes center on the relationship between the two of them and on the supernatural events that occur. The female main characters are also very alike, physically and personality-wise,both are tall, long-haired and attractive females. They also have a quick temper and get jelous easily. Both male characters are easy-going guys that get dragged in supernatural events without their will.
If you enjoyed Bakemonogatari, you might enjoy Tasogare Otome x Amnesia as well.

What is great about both anime is that they enjoy the reader by fully using the potential of the artwork. The unique portraying of the story is where both anime stand out for me (together with the dialogue in Bakemonogatari). You can watch these anime solely for the sake of enjoying how the producers have managed to convert their story and their ideas into anime.
A tale of unraveling the mysteries of their own respective universe. Both sprinkled with fanservice and interesting characters. Shares similar vibes of the eerie and obscure atmosphere.

Both have a similar styles to editing and shot composition, which both do effectively to convey the story and characters, though Monogatari's style of editing can be abit more 'eccentric' its significantly toned down in Dusk Maiden and at times truly helps to convey interesting visuals that break up the monotony of some scenes.

From the sharp visuals and audio, they both hold something in common. Though Dusk Maiden is more of a darker, spookier version of how Bakemonogatari does it. They both keep the quick cuts, deep, vivid, abstract and expressive colors. Audio fills the scenes whether actual music or just some thing to fit the situation.
