Both series have well animated action and star two female leads with opposite personalities who grow with and because of the other. In both cases, the leads are involved in an organization/study that is considered private in their societies.
Where Lycoris Recoil focuses more on the building of trust and friendship, The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady focuses more on the romantic undertones between the two leads. There's enough of a through line, in my eyes, for someone that enjoys one approach to appreciate the other as well!

Both have two main characters whose traits are similar. One is cheerful and the other is serious.
Energetic, cheerful girl X Serious girl.
Setting is very different but once you watched both of them you would definitely realize why they're similar. And also, the yuri vibes is a big plus. If you're a yuri bait enjoyer, this is definitely recommended.

Mahou Kakumei is what we wished Lycoris Recoil was.
- One noticeable similarity is the MC's dynamic. One is carefree and eccentric while the other is serious and conservative.
- (mild spoilers) Both series' stories expand on the serious MC learning to "break free" from rules as they grow close to each other, though Mahou Kakumei exploits this plotline more, to the point where it's a Yuri anime. Lycoris Recoil didn't, resulting in a "BFF" relationship between their MCs while only giving hints.
- Mahou Kakumei needs to spend time on world-building, considering it's an Isekai. It could be boring to some.
- Both series' adaptations are on par

It's another opposites attract dynamic anime with 2 girls. Instead of magic, it's guns (and defeating criminals, of course.)
Both feature a pair of MCs with a similar personalities.
Both feature a cheerful, carefree and erratic short-hair girl and a serious, quiet and strict long-hair girl.
