Both are 'romance' comedies with strong determined female leads that have eccentric personalities. Both characters have an inner dramatic/comedic battle with their emotions. In Skip Beat, Kyoko's desire for revenge conflicts with her love of acting. In Romantic Killer, Anzu resists Riri's romantic schemes due to her desire to get her cat, games and chocolates back. Both Kyoko and Anzu have over-the-top personalities and hilarious inner dialogues. I didn't think I could find another character that makes me laugh like Kyoko, but I find Anzu just as relatable.
