A love story between sister If you dislike citrus because the storyline is too much forced or uncomfortable with NSWF scenes, I suggest to watch candy boy as an alternative.

Both are yuri based around sisters, and the struggles they face in their relationship due to problems between themselves or from the rest of the world. Candy Boy is 100% about the emotional story of the characters, and is a very cosy feeling slice of life about twins. Citrus on the other hand is more romantic and tense, a drama based around two girls who meet when they become step-sisters. Although Citrus involves a more sexual side as well, both anime are based in the emotional and romantic development of the two main characters.

Both animes are ''yuri'' and have two sisters in a romantic story. Candy Boy is less dramatic and has a more soft romance than Citrus, so it can be a nice alternative for those who thought Citrus was too intense. Besides that, particularly I think the characters from the two animes are quite similar

Candy Boy is a more optimistic sister relationship, one that is maybe a little too ideal. Whatever you believe, ideas such as Candy Boy and Citrus ended up deforming the word sister and remodelling it into something of an interesting piece of art. What we end up with is no normal girls' love tale, rather, a broken tale from Citrus's launching itself   read more
