Both series involve the main characters being involved with the spiritual world. Both protagonists work under the spiritual world to attain supernatural powers.
Both series have an emphasis on action as they both have fluent animation and interesting battles.
Both series put the spotlight on only the main characters and don't really emphasize the side characters as much. The main characters are interesting with each of them serving a different purpose and all have different goals. They all have unique personalities and showcase intriguing interactions with others.
