Both have outstanding animation on a consistent level.

Both characters are similar. Shinra kusakabe and soul Evan used as a weapon. Shinra kusakabe used his fire leg and soul Evan used as a weapon
The Squad. Fire Force and Soul Eater both follow two groups of people training themselves and being of use for the greater good. The chemistry and teamwork with these characters flow very well too.
Fire Force does this with Shinra and his time in the Special Fire Force Company 8, Soul Eater does this with Maka and Soul's time in the DWMA.
Both are good battle-shounen anime with the same amount of fanservice too, made by the same original creator Ookubo Atsushi. You can expect similar character designs.

Soul Eater and Enen no Shouboutai are both created by the same mangaka, Atsushi Ohkubo. Thus, quite a bit is similar. Soul Eater Evans and Shinra Kusakabe are similar in how they act. Also, both anime follow a group of people fighting against evil. Soul Eater is better overall, but Enen no Shouboutai is also good. Both are worth watching :)

It is by the same creators. The animation style and detail to character is very well done. The characters are great and its fight scenes are absolutely amazing!
