In both series, there's the theme of science fiction involving a group of young girls. There are some strange interactions between them that sometimes range from comedic to serious, but all in all in handy.
Both series have similar animation styles as well as similar themes. There's also plenty of action to go along with it and involves these young girls in various events against certain adversaries along the way.
