In both anime, the main character must gradually gain control of their newfound powers and develop into a more aggressive, formidable, and determined person. They both have a dark and gritty atmosphere and are loaded with violence, action, and blood. If you like one, you might like the other.

-The Mc obtains a dark supernatural power which turns him into something inhuman.
-They fight others of their own kind.
-Amazing and well thought out Antagonists.
-The goverments get involved in exterminating them.
-Both are action packed and has a dark and bloody atmosphere.

These two anime are from Netflix and have a young boy main character that is not totally normal. These two anime deal with themes of the increasingly paranoid of the supernatural and how people react to the existence of monsters to humanity. Not to mention characters learn to train and control their powers until they come to accept who they are.
