Both series share similar comedy.
Both are revolved around school and youkai.
Both involve a separate dimension for the youkai to live in.
The same comedy and supernatural based animes, where the main characters reluctantly found themselves involve with the supernatural, no thanks to another character whom were quite cheeky in their own way....the difference, was that in Kyoukai no rinne the main character is girls who has feeling for the cheeky guy, while in Fukigen the main character is a boy and to make matters worse for him is that he's classmates with the cheeky brat who tricked him to be his dog, BOOM!
