Aldnoah.Zero

Both are mecha in which the earth is at war and the princes try to bring about peace.
Aldnoah.Zero is basically Gundam. The concept is very much the same, space organization fighting against Earth, but in Aldnoah the roles are switched.
Similarities:
- Space organization have overpowered legendary Mechs while people on earth have regular mechs
- Main characters are fighting to end the war
- Political intrigue (not so much in aldnoah as in gundam)
- Strategy heavy action
