High school romance shows with relatively comedic first seasons but end up being heavier than expected in the second season. One's more of a harem series while the other is a more traditional romantic comedy, but they aren't exactly typical to either genre.

Well, it's not the story that's similar, but the character development. I really love how the characters change throughout the story. Don't get me wrong though, the stories of each anime are great. So great that I gave them a 10.
firt seasons of both are pretty average but second good, similar dynamic between characters
