- Hero's former best-friend becomes a villain who is only doing what he's doing to save his friend (owari no seraph) or the world (hamatora)
-Character who had numerous experiments done on them by humans (the "good guys") is used as a trump card in final stages
these two shows just made me think of each other. Both are a little bizarre and try to be more than they are. They are both entertaining enough and I liked them, so if you like one you should at least try the other
