Both these shows kind of give off the same vibe. Something weird is going on due to the past events of character's childhood. Mystery and serious undertones.
Terror in Resonance has more action, abut the same drama, but its slightly less serious(real life stuff). TiR will make you hurt inside just like erased.

Both shows masterfully utilize flashbacks and dramatic plot devices to take the viewer on a fast-paced, philosophical and emotional journey that is sure to cause both pleasure and introspection.
Adventure, the thrill, so much is similar. Not much in the storyline but if you enjoyed Erased you will love Terror in Resonance.

Abnormalities. Erased and Terror in Resonance both present a strange world where strange things happen within them.
Erased has Satoru and his time travelling powers which take him back to 1988, in which he sets himself on a task to find a serial killer who has taken 3 of his classmates' lives. ZnT has the odd terrorists Sphinx who set up a number of bombing in a fashion that involves riddles to be solved by detectives.
Both are good mystery anime featuring large amounts of tracing backs and deductions to get down to the source of all the cause of the calamity.

both have a similar art style and are thrill-level. even though the stories are vastly different they kinda seem alike because they revolve around psychology
Both have strong willed main characters. Both have a deeper meaning to them. Boku dake ga Inai Machi isn't just about the main character's time travelling, neither is Zankyou no Terror only about terrorism. This is an anime to watch when looking for something with a deep meaning and an interesting backstory.
Both of these are complete rollercoasters the entire way through, and they are ridiculously addictive, and, in my opinion, some of the best anime out there. However, both the ending of Boku dake ga inai machi and Zankyou no Terror were ok at best...
