Both are gut busting comedy series with heart and a large cast of unique characters that bounce off each other wonderfully.
Both also have small romantic sub-plots (although Shojo Nozaki-kun relies more heavily on jokes involving romance) and surprisingly both are light hearted with next to no fanservice.

This is my first time making a recommendation, and let me tell you, if you are looking for a comedy that you can rewatch and never get bored of, Barakamon and GSN exists. The main character of GSN, Nozaki Umetaro, is a high school mangaka and Barakamon's main character, Seishu Handa, is an aspiring calligrapher. both shows have a rather simple plot the main characters both are very awkward and do not have any social skills but they both gradually adapt to their environment ..both main characters are artists of some sorts and the show mainly revolves around their work and how they are influenced by their environment
